As part of our values, we deeply believe in giving back to the communities that support us. Our corporate social investment policy is in support of Millennium Development Goal 1, which seeks to Eradicate Extreme Poverty and Hunger. Our contribution towards this noble cause is evident in our three-pronged approach Integration of Community Labour And Skills In each area that we operate, we ardently employ labour and skills from the immediate community, thus creating an enabling environment for people to learn new skills whilst receiving competitive remuneration. Our policy to employ people from the community in which we serve, ultimately provides a saving for our clients, whilst simultaneously empowering and providing a livelihood for contracted personnel.

Facilitation of Access to Power

HPC Africa Power endeavours to facilitate access to sustainable and safe power to all communities in which we have worked. In this regard, we carry out bush clearing services, line construction and maintenance as well as cable jointing at no cost to eh community, with the exception of the requisite materials required. It is our vision to be able to provide electrical engineering solutions to all rural areas in Zimbabwe, thus eradication the desecration of trees being used for domestic and farming purposes.

Provision of Basic Needs to Disadvantaged Families

At HPC Africa Power, we have embarked on and commenced a community project that seeks to provide basic goods to disadvantaged families, thus playing our part in alleviating extreme poverty and hunger. In particular, our focus is on child headed homes or homes headed by the aged, as we realise and understand their dilemma in seeking long term employment. To date, the following communities have benefited from our Corporate Social Investment:

Malawi (Southern Region)

Tanzania (Morongoro Region)

Zimbabwe (Midlands Province)

Mozmbique (Tete)
